Over time these genres can become hybrids and change and mix through time, but genres must follow some similarity's of what we already know about then but then also so differences to make it entertaining.

Effective story telling is when films make scenes look real when they was actually filmed separately and made to look like one scene, this is used for effective story telling. I followed the 180 rule where sure the direction of filming fitted the left right relationship between 2 characters Match on action refers to film editing techniques where a editor cuts from one shot to another where the shots may have been done hours apart this creating a continuous timeline. For the actual task we filmed Joe realising he was late for school and having to make a dash for school this involved varied camera angles : low, high and a long shot. This creating an effect of high speed and the tension and rush behind the dash, creating an interesting and effect, continuous story line. following the 180 rule and match on match

the idiot teacher

To learn editing skills as a class we decided to do a spin off of the tv show educating greater Manchester as a class we spent an hour filming scene in the class of teacher struggling to control the class and eating a scotch egg. We then filmed some head shots one to one to fit with the theme of a parody of educating greater Manchester.  we then edited the footage separately with everyone having different edits on the video and putting our own spin on the footage. I wanted to focus on the story having a comical effect with the transitions and the cut ins of the head shots to create a negative opinion of the teacher and make a joke of him. The elements of my edits i thought was good was my cutting of clips and transitions, the only element i wasn't happy with was that some of the sound transitions overlapped.
Effective story telling when it comes to film, you are creating something that isn't real and making people believe its real. Continuity is the job whop over watches the set and checks that the set doesn't accidentally change. Continuity isn't just the set it can be makeup or movement, speed and also character actions. Trying to keep a left-right on continuity. Match on action refers to films editing videos editing techniques where directors cut from one shot to another view that matches the first shot's action. Although the two shots may have actually been shot hours apart from each other, cutting on action gives the impression of continues time when watching the edited film. It is a form of continuity editing. in film the 180 degree rule is a basic guideline that states the two characters in the same shot should always have the same left/right relationship.
